Direct Radiography (DR)
DR eliminates the need for
extra image conversion equipment. A CCD
electronic sensor or flat panel scintilator captures the image and sends
directly to your PC for immediate viewing.
Computed Radiography (CR)
The X-Ray film and screen
is replaced by a phosphorous plate that captures the X-Ray photon energy. A CR reader then scans the plate and creates
a digital version of this image. Most
X-Ray units of 30 KW or greater are compatible with this CR technology.
